Privacy Policy

Digital Gato LLC Apps Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 23, 2026

1. Who we are and what this covers

This policy covers every mobile app published by Digital Gato LLC (“DigitalGato”, “we”, “us”) on the Apple App Store and Google Play. It does not cover our websites. For that, see digitalgato.com/privacy. Section 7 lists what each app can access.

2. The short version

Our apps work on your device. We do not ask you to create an account. We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across other companies’ apps and websites. The content you create or open in our apps, such as photos, files, entries, answers to onboarding questions and settings, stays on your device and is never uploaded to us.

3. What stays on your device

Everything you open, create or choose in our apps is processed and stored on your device, and we cannot see it. This includes photos and the information stored inside them, lists, records, receipts, notes, counters, onboarding answers, PINs and settings. If you delete an app, its local data is removed from your device. Backups made by Apple or Google follow their own policies.

Reminders, such as when a wait ends, are scheduled as notifications on your device. They are not sent through our servers.

4. Information our service providers receive

Purchases

When you buy a subscription or an unlock, Apple or Google processes the payment. We use RevenueCat to confirm your purchase so the app can unlock and so you can restore it later. RevenueCat receives purchase receipts, an anonymous app user ID created by the app, and basic app and device information needed to validate purchases. We never receive your name, email address or payment details.

Support emails

If you contact us from an app, your email app opens a message to us with some details filled in: your iOS version, device model, app version, language and the anonymous app user ID. You can edit or delete these before sending. We use what you send only to answer you.

Maps (optional)

If you choose to show a photo’s location on a map, or tap Open in Maps, that photo’s location coordinates are sent to Apple Maps (on iPhone) to display the map. The photo itself is never sent. This only happens when you tap, or if you turn on Show maps automatically in Settings. Apple’s privacy policy applies to Apple Maps.

Store reports

Apple and Google give us aggregated reports such as downloads, crashes and ratings. We cannot identify individual users from them.

5. What we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, photos, files, browsing history, or the apps you choose to block, unless you choose to email us.

6. Blocking apps

Some of our apps help you block websites or apps. They do this on your device, and we do not log what is blocked. Safari blocking uses a content blocker extension with a blocklist stored on your device, together with any sites and keywords you add. Apple does not allow these extensions to read or send the content of the pages you visit.

Some apps use Apple’s Screen Time features (Family Controls) to turn on Apple’s adult content filter, shield apps you choose, or stop apps from being deleted. Apple keeps the list of what you select, and we cannot read it.

Some apps create a local VPN configuration on your device to filter content. It does not send your traffic to us or to any server we operate, and we do not run VPN servers.

7. What each app can access

Each app asks permission only for the features you use, and you can change permissions in your device settings. Permissions we request:

  • EzWipe (EXIF Metadata Remover): photo library, to choose pictures to inspect and clean; permission to add photos, to save clean copies. Photos are never uploaded, and original photos are not changed. Optionally, if you show a photo’s location on a map, its coordinates are sent to Apple Maps (see section 4).
  • xFilter (Adult Content Blocker): Screen Time access (Family Controls), to turn on the web filter, shield apps you choose and stop apps from being deleted; the Safari content blocker extension, which you turn on in iOS Settings; notifications (optional), for reminders such as when a wait ends. Your blocked sites, keywords, lock settings and PIN stay on your device. Purchases are confirmed through RevenueCat (see section 4).

8. Sharing

We share information only with the service providers named above, who process it for us, and when the law requires it. When you export or share a file, it goes through the sharing option you pick, and that app’s policy applies. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising.

9. Retention

We do not keep personal data on our own servers. Our service providers, such as RevenueCat, keep purchase records under their own policies.

10. Your choices and rights

Because we do not hold your name or an account for you, we usually cannot identify data as yours. You can still contact us with questions or requests under laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA, and we will respond within a reasonable time. You can manage purchases through your Apple or Google account, and you can stop all processing by deleting the app.

11. Children

Our apps are not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age in your country. Some apps are meant for parents to use with their own devices or their children’s. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Security

Keeping data on your device reduces the risk of exposure. We choose reputable service providers, but no method of storage or transfer is completely secure.

13. International processing

Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries.

14. Changes

We may update this policy. We will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, mention them in the app or its release notes.
